Fantastic Fall :)

As much as we are always so sad to say goodbye to summer, I am always blown away with how beautiful the fall is.  I LOVE THE FALL! We have some fun traditions in the fall too.

Tradition #1
I always look forward to our fall hike! It is unbelievable how gorgeous the colors are, I feel like it gets prettier and prettier every year! The girls feel the joy in it too, so fun to have them with me:)

 Rough moment along the hike

 Unbelievable

A sucker was the perfect trick to help her make it through the hike back
It worked for daddy as well
:)

Random adorable bath picture....in the fall...haha

Kody and Gina's visit was wonderful and relaxing, the girls loved their motorcycle ride!

Tadition#2
Raking leaves! I was so proud of my Brytinn...She came home from school and said, "I'm going outside to rake leaves" I was trying to insist she get done her inside responsibilities and we keep to routine, but I am so glad she persisted! It was a perfect day for raking the leaves up.  Kam and Amarie followed her out and sure enough, a few minutes later, there was a significantly large pile of leaves the girls had done all on their own, so finally i went out and joined them, they were so cute..working hard and could not wait to jump in the pile!

Tradition #3
Cornbellies! I was afraid it might not happen this year cuz the weather was not cooperating, I am sooo glad it worked out, so much fun!

Noelle was so good and took over an hour nap in her stroller

Love these bikes, fun, and the best exercise:)

Tradition #4
Dressing up for the ward Halloween Party

I can't get enough of this babe...and especially in this ridiculously cute costume.  I was excited I found the pumpkin at the thrift store, cuz last year I was pregnant and my belly was the pumpkin, so I thought it was fun this year to have the pumpkin out of me:)

Tradition #5
Carving Pumpkins: Kinda low key this year...but just glad we made it happen:) and I always LOVE those pumpkin seeds

Halloween Day

Brytinn and her new friend that she and I are so excited that she found

Trick or Treating at Daddy's work
(Joe was a newsy at the last second, a hot one:)

Tradition #6
CANDY...ug :)
I had fun passing out candy and 'fry lice' with Noelle.  Daddy was a trooper trick or treating with the girls.  We all had and have colds, but we did it!

Mouth full of candy, this Amers still needs monitoring

When no one was looking Noelle climbed up the stairs for the first time! Sugar high I guess:) She was so excited and was climbing super fast!
The whole family was super excited, so much joy in this bundle of cuteness

PS...Next year I hope I can pull together costumes that are a theme for my family...I love when families
dress up as a group, so fun.

summer work and fun!

So, I never thought we would tackle our back two corners in our yard covered in weeds as tall as me!  (one corner is behind the girls on the tramp...our new RECTANGLE tramp that I'm so stoked about) But, once we found out our neighbors were putting THEIR back fence in, and therefore OUR back fence in:), we got a boost of motivation to start the project! We weeded one Saturday and one corner at a time.  Once the weeding was over the hard part was done, or was it?......
After three early mornings, before the girls were awake, of laying tarp, it was time to purchase the rock! We thought we could unload the rocks in one trip and one evening...not so.  Four truck loads and three days later we had the rocks in place!

And the finished product! I'm so relieved.  Now I feel like I can move onto another project next summer because I wont be having nightmares of our weeds overtaking us in the middle of the night:)
